About the role

Our main aim is to provide a safe, supportive and respectful community in which people living with mental illness can realise their individual goals, maximise their community integration and enhance their quality of life.

As our new Support Worker, you will work closely with our team members, engaging them to work as a team and participate in a structured and meaningful working day. Your understanding of recovery-oriented mental health principles will be utilised as you develop relationships with stakeholders. Your brilliant organisational skills will come to the fore as you coordinate and promote the program. Your sound understanding of operational and workplace practices will shine as you plan and deliver program activities. Your talent for working with consumers with complex needs will be drawn upon in this rewarding position.

What you can bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will need a current and valid NSW drivers licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle. Relevant experience and/or qualifications in working with people living with mental illness is required. A Working with Children Check is needed. Competency in the Microsoft Office suite is necessary.
